Vicore förbereder nu starten av ASPIRE, en fas 2b-studie med C21, under första halvan av nästa år.”

Om C21
C21 är en så kallad ”first-in-class”, oralt tillgänglig, lågmolekylär ATRAG under utveckling för behandling av idiopatisk lungfibros (IPF). C21 har särläkemedelsstatus för IPF i Europa och USA. Den unika multimodala verkningsmekanismen motverkar den underliggande fibrosen genom att C21 aktiverar den skyddande funktionen hos renin-angiotensin-systemet. Angiotensin II typ 2-receptoraktivering utlöser skyddande signalvägar, främjar alveolär läkning och underhåller därmed den alveolära integriteten.
